Jason served in the Grenadier Guards for 6 years as an Army Physical Training Instructor/Infantry Soldier. He has served in the United Kingdom as a Queens Royal Guardsman and in many operations such as the Gulf War in Iraq. Jason has an extensive knowledge of physical training in many locations, from the forests of Germany to the desert in Saudi Arabia. Since leaving the Armed Forces, Jason joined Mike Bakers Gym in Northampton as a senior Instructor/ManagerAs the Director of BOOTCAMP Physical Training, Jason is keen to introduce his physical training skills and experience gained through his time in the British Army to members of the public who are looking for something different to help improve their personal fitness.
Joanna served in the British Army for 6 years with the 16th Regiment Royal Artillery and qualified as a Rapier Missile Operative. Her service took her on many various training exercises, including time serving with the United Nations in Cyprus. She gained extensive experience in physical training during her career in the British Army which included Cross Country Skiing around Europe and as a member of the Regimental Tug-O-War team.Since Joanna joined the team she wants to encourage more women to take part in the BOOTCAMP Physical Training sessions as the programmes are not about brute force and strength, but are about focusing on improving your overall levels of fitness,body conditioning and well being.
Dean served in the British Army for 4 years as a Physical Training Instructor with 40 Regiment Royal Artillery. He served in Afghanistan on Operation Herrick as well as Operational exercises in Kenya, where his Physical Training Knowledge and Expertise came into full force to keep the soldiers fit in the African heat.Dean was also in the regimental cross country team and the Gunners cricket team. Dean’s goals with BOOTCAMP Physical Training are to take everyone’s fitness levels beyond what they thought possible! Dean is one of the regular instructors at Bootcamp Physical Training, involved in leading the Monday, Wednesday and Saturday outdoor sessions, and occasionally the indoor sessions.
